Carrot sticks can fight women’s cancer. According to research and studies, women who ate just four carrots at least 5 days a week may prevent them in having an ovarian cancer. It’s possible that carrots can help stop ovarian tumors because they are rich in beta-carotene, that orange pigment believed that can fight cancer. Aside from carrots other orange foods can help fight cancer like apricots, some variants of camote, cantaloupe and pumpkin to give more beta carotene. Tomato sauce that is rich in lycopene is also a good source to fight or prevent ovarian cancer.

Braised Beef

Ingredients:
1 kilo beef,1 inch sliced
1 teaspoon salt
vegetable oil for frying
1/2 teaspoon atsuete oil
1 teaspoon pepper, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon sugar
2 garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cups of water
1 tablespoon onion, minced
How to cook:
Put salt on Beef and fry until golden fry. set aside.
Boil all the ingredients together with beef except onion.
Boil until beef is cook, season to taste.
Served with onion toppings.
Rice and Shrimp Salad

2 cups cooked rice 500ml
1 cup diced fresh pineapple 250ml
1 cup cooked crab meat 250ml
1/2 lb cooked shrimp, peeled, 250ml
deveined and halved
2 tomatoes, peepled, seeded2
and diced (optional)
1/2 cup cooked corn, well drained 125ml
1/2 cup salad dressing of your choice 125ml
salt and pepper dash paprika
* Mix all ingredients (except salad dressing)
together in large bowl. Season well, pour in dressing and marinate 10 minutes.
* Serve on lettuce leaves or in hollowed-out pineapple halve.
Sweet and sour Meatballs

Another Pinoy recipe which you’ll surely like.
Ingredients for meat balls:
1 kilo ground pork
1 1\2 tsp.table salt
2 table spoon rice wine or vinegar
2 table spoon soy sauce
1 chorizo de bilbao, chopped
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 table spoon red sugar
1 table spoon garlic, chopped
cooking oil, for frying
Ingredients for sauce:
1 cup water
1 teaspoon red sugar
2 tablespoon ketchup
1 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved
How to cook:
1. Mix all the ingredients for meat balls. Set aside.
2. Make a ball out of it and deep fry.
3. Mix water, sugar,ketchup, hot sauce and salt and boil.
4. Add cornstarch little by little for a thick sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

want to share with you a Pinoy recipe. One of my favorite dish.
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken, cut into medium size (boiled)
1 can liver spread
3 cloves of garlic
1 onion (sliced)
vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper sliced
1 can tomato sauce
1\2 cup of bread crumbs
chicken soup ( from boiled chicken)
How to cook:
1. Fried the chicken until it turns to golden brown, set aside.
2. Saute onion and garlic.
3. return the chicken to pan and pour the chicken soup.
4. Boil until chicken is tender.
5. Add liver spread and tomato sauce.
6. Add red bell pepper and bread crumbs. Salt and pepper to taste.
