Our bagoong festival is finish. We have celebrated it successfully and I could say that this is the happiest fiesta for us here in ELF Bagoong. I have said in my previous blogs that we have joined the bagoong dance and street dancing competition. And just last April 24^th, the day that we all have waiting for, we were announced as overall champion.

We have teamed up with the RRF Bagoong since we can’t shoulder all the responsibilities for our dancers and since we have a business to run every day. The event started at 3 p.m. at our town plaza. We started for our street dancing completion there with four stations to stop for judging. We arrived at 5 p.m. in our barangay court. That was the end of the first part of the competition. We had an hour to take a rest for the big night. We talked to our dancers about the big night and they were not that nervous anymore since somebody told us that two of the judges gave us a perfect score in our street dance, instead they were very excited about the dance.

The night was very exciting especially during our dance. A lot of people were cheering for our performance that made our dancers more eager to win it. Some people hated us that night because they were expecting to win but it was not our fault if we made it. We got the best in choreography, our muse also won the title and we were also the champion for the street and bagoong dance competition. We were very thankful for what happened and now, we are preparing for our upcoming victory party.
